How does Passwd handle password sharing within a team?

All records are securely encrypted, so everyone can start using Passwd as easily as Google Drive or Calendar. Create records, manage them effortlessly, and share with your team, all within the permissions you control. Passwd is built with simplicity and security at its core, ensuring that anyone can understand and use it with confidence. You can create tags to organize your records.

Is there a limit on the number of records I can store in Passwd?

No, there is no limit to the number of records in the full version of Passwd. However, the complimentary Starter plan is limited to 15 records. We highly recommend upgrading to one of our subscription plans.

What happens when an employee leaves the company?

When a Workspace user is suspended or removed, their Passwd access is automatically revoked. Admins retain full control of all credentials, and shared records remain safely accessible to the rest of the team. This helps prevent data leaks from offboarding mistakes.

Can administrators control which users see specific passwords?

Yes. Passwd includes role-based access control, allowing administrators to decide which users or groups can view, edit, or share specific secrets or tags. This ensures the principle of least privilege across your organization.

Can I audit password access or changes in Passwd?

Absolutely. The Enterprise plan provides activity logs and audit trails that show who accessed, modified, or shared records. These logs help IT teams maintain compliance and security visibility.

Can I store anything else other than passwords?

Absolutely! You can use Passwd to securely store logins, codes, bank credentials, and a variety of other types of information.

Is it possible to securely share records outside of my organization?

Yes, you can share records securely using a unique encrypted link that remains active for 24 hours. Learn more about this feature here.
