Our pricing model explained

Passwd offers two pricing models, pay per organization and pay per user, so you can choose what works best for your team's size and structure while the pay per organization is discounted and generally more affordable.

1. Pay per organization

With this model, you pay a flat monthly fee based on the total number of users in your Google Workspace, regardless of how many actively use Passwd. This is ideal for teams that want to give the entire organization access by default. The amount of users is automatically synchronized and kept up to date. Notifications will be sent out via email as you approach 90% of your tier's user capacity. Additionally, any transitions between tiers, whether upgrades or downgrades, will be communicated through email notifications.

2. Pay per user

With this model, you are billed only for users who are actively using Passwd. You will be able to choose the users in the administration and add or revoke them at any time, giving you complete control. This is a great fit for teams that want to roll out Passwd to a specific department or group rather than the entire organization.

Where can we verify the number of our users in Passwd?

Verifying user count is a simple process. For administrators, logging in to your Google Workspace admin console reveals the information on the dashboard under "active users." Why does it work this way?

All Google Workspace users can be Passwd users, this is part of the simplicity of our solution. Whether you choose to roll it out organization-wide or to a specific team, no additional administrative steps are required on your part; everything functions right away

Which pricing model should I choose?

  • Choose pay per organization if you want everyone in your Google Workspace to have access to Passwd from day one, with predictable flat-rate billing.
  • Choose pay per user if you're rolling out Passwd to a specific team or department and only want to pay for those actively using it.

Can I change the pricing model later on?

Sure, you are able to change whenever you need to. If you want to roll out Passwd for everyone later and just start with some people to test it, or if you simply change your mind, you will be able to do it in your settings.
